D.I.Y Paper Bird Cage Party Decor

The lovely and incredibly talented Laurie Cinotto created this adorable D.I.Y. Paper Bird Cage Project for Janie at The Bride's Cafe and they agreed to let me share it with you all here on Creature Comforts too (yay - thanks ladies)!

What I find so great about projects like this is how customizable they are.  By simply choosing papers in colors and patterns that reflect your taste best, you can make a collection of unique pieces to bedeck your next party with.  These bird cages would look great clustered on a tabletop (arranged at different heights) or hanging from branches or ribbons.  Perhaps at the end of the fete you might even like to send your guests home with one to remember the event by.

One Good Thing: Est Soaps

I must have been living under a rock because just this past weekend I discovered this gorgeous eco-friendly line by Brazilian company Est Soaps (available in the US exclusively through LAMA).  The packaging alone had me swooning (amazing, right?!), but when I learned that all their products contain no alcohol or animal products and are earth-friendly and biodegradable too, I was sold.  I hope to have the chance to try out their goods soon...but choosing between yummy scents such as lime, lemon, pomegranate and more will not be easy.  See more on the Est Soaps website or shop their bar soaps at LAMA.  xo Ez
