Heidi Merrick Fashion + Blankets

I first started this post intending to share the gorgeous new Heidi Merrick Spring 2011 clothing line, but after putting the first image together I decided to take a peek at the Fall 2011 line (even though the last thing I'm feeling at the moment is Autumnal). I'm so glad I did...the looks are gorgeous and so inspiring (I adore the color palette)!

Then as I was getting ready to wrap the post up I spotted the gorgeous line of blankets they offer (the pillows are lovely too). I'm smitten. What gorgeous bursts of color! Both the fashion and home collections are totally worth browsing through simply for the shear eye-candy value. Pop on over and get your gaze on. xo Ez

In My Imaginary Closet: 05. 10. 11

This past Sunday it was finally so hot that I was forced to wear shorts for the first time this year. If you know me, then you know I'm a reluctant shorts-wearer (something about all that white skin, and a desire to spare people from the blinding glare). Anyhow, it got me thinking about my imaginary closet and what new pieces I would like to see in there. Then I came across this gorgeous look from Annika M. on Lookbook.nu (via Sara Kate Studios) and knew I had to use it as my inspiration. So here you have it. A Little Fashion Crush: Nico Nico Clothing

I'm not exactly sure when it happened...but sometime between 12 years ago (when I was having my daughter) and now, children's clothing went and got all fashionable (there's not a saccharin sweet trademarked cartoon character to be found). And I'm not just talking..."fashionable for kids" but the sort of stylish pieces that I truly wish came in my size too.

Case in point: these adorable tops from the Nico Nico collection by Sue Tsai (available at Nonchalantmom) have been on my "wishlist" for a while and won't be going anywhere anytime soon. If women's sizes were available (they aren't currently...I emailed Sue just to be sure) I guarantee that I'd scoop up at least half of everything she makes! Sigh!

Anyhow...until then (hopefully there will be a then) I've resined myself to enjoying the inspiration they bring me (and if you have a little one to shop for, then by all means go to it! I can hear you snickering to your lucky little self all the way over here. *wink*) xo Ez
