Happy Halloweekend

Hello lovelies and happy Halloweekend to you! Do you have plans for this Sunday? I've got a frantic couple of days ahead of me as I put the finishing touches on Gifted Magazine. The big launch is on Monday (fingers crossed) so I hope you will be back again next week to check it out (and share it with your friends and family too). Of course the weekend wouldn't be complete without a few hours of sugar-crazed trick-or-treating Sunday evening. If I'm extra nice, maybe my daughter will share some of her candy loot with me! Here are the top things that I am fancying today. I would also fancy a nice long nap, but that's not on the can-have list today (frowny face). Hope your Thursday is treating you sweetly. xo Ez

• A cast iron house - such a delightfully unexpected decor accessory (just don't drop it on your toes).
• A Mini porcelain spoon - perfect for the mini spoon obsession I'm currently experiencing (and it's .95 cents — so mine).
• Hive and Honey Bracelets - the best of both world's — tough and sparkly!
• Hunter Originals - I need these to magically appear in my closet pronto.

Today I Love: Anna Wili Highfield's Paper Sculptures

I'm completely smitten with the astonishingly beautiful paper sculpture work of artist Anna Wili Highfield (discovered via Lost & Fawnd). It's hard to fathom having the talent to take paper, thread, and wire to such an elevated level. I'm truly inspired! See much more of Anna's paper sculpture work on her site, right here. "Wishes Do Come True" by me

One of the things I missed most during my daughter's and my short stint on the East Coast was the glow of long evening light that I had grown so fond of in California (if you've spent any time on the West Coast, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about). I wasted many a late afternoon lamenting it's absence, knowing that for all my hoping, it would still not show itself (is that silly). Soon after our move to Oklahoma this past Spring my daughter and I took an evening walk (one of our firsts in our new town) and I was ecstatic to see my old friend "Evening Light" once again! This shot is the result of me laying on the ground and basking in its glow.
