Creature Comforts in Déco Idées Magazine

Today started out with some wonderful emails in my inbox...one of which was from Anneleen of Actief Wonen kindly informing me that Creature Comforts can be found in the latest issue of Déco Idées Magazine.  What an honor!  I'm so excited to see my little blog featured in such a beautiful publication right along side some of my favorite fellow bloggers.  Hurray!

In Good Company: Vanilla Bug

I can't remember where I first spotted the work of Australian artist Amy a.k.a. Vanilla Bug.  It could of been through flickr, in her etsy or big cartel shops, or maybe it was her blog or portfolio (she's a busy lady isn't she) that first caught my eye...but whatever the case may be, it was truly love at first sight.

Free Printable Polka Dot Paper

I created these high resolution colored polka dot patterns a while back to use in some other designs and though you might all enjoy them in their simple form.  With this freebie you get two colors per PDF page, so each polka-dotted rectangle measures about 8.5 x 5.5.  These would make the perfect backdrop for handmade cards or note flats, and you could also use craft punches to create tags, stickers, labels (or whatever else suits you) from them.  Enjoy!
