Free Printable 2011 Calendar

Hi sweets! One of the many resolutions I made for myself this new year is to spend more time creating art (not just looking at it online). I don't really consider myself to be an "artist" in the traditional sense of the word, but I do love it whenever I set the time aside to work on it (which is hardly ever I'm afraid - hence the resolution).

In any event, I brought a giant pad of paper and watercolors to my parent's house on New Year's Eve (I know, I'm a total party animal) and spent several blissful hours painting all sorts of naturey-themed doodles, which I then decided to use to make a printable calendar for you all. I designed it so that each month's image can be repurposed as postcards or note flats once the month has passed (just cut out, address, stamp the back, and you're done). That way if one of your resolutions is also to send more snail mail to friends and family, you're all set (and you have all month to decide who to send it to).

Once printed onto heavy-weight paper, cut out along dashed border. I've included a small mark if you'd like to punch a hole for hanging with a piece of pretty ribbon or twine. If not, you can easily hang your calendar using a small binder clip (like I did here).

For non-commercial use only please. Alteration of the file does not void the copyright. The PDF file is not intended to be hosted on your own site - please link to this post for the download. Please feel free to print out copies to share with your friends and family, and of course a little shout-out for my blog is always very much appreciated too! Enjoy! xo Ez

Color Crush: Metallic + Melon

Did you see this fantastic holiday wrapping story by Summer Watkins? I first spotted these gorgeous images over on pinterest a few weeks ago but haven't stopped drooling over them ever since. Yes, the holidays might be over, but this color palette is fresh and inspiring me to no end.

Today I Love:

Hello lovelies and happy new year to you! I can hardly believe it's 2011...can you! I thought it would be fun to put together my very first moodboard of the year with some pretty things I'm loving right now. A little bit nautical, a little bit metallic, and a wee bit of French-inspiration for good measure.

Tomorrow I will have a free printable 2011 calendar to share with you, so I hope you'll be back for that. Have a fabulous afternoon. xo Ez

Site for Sore Eyes: Old Brand New

I stumbled across Old Brand New blog via flickr over the weekend and quickly fell in love with (writer/thrifter extraordinaire) Dabito's effortless approach to decorating his home. A visit to his blog will soon find you wandering amidst of sea of eye candy and inspiration. Can I also just say that I adore that he uses real film for his photos - they are all so wonderful. Such a talent! Oh, and how precious is his little furry model: Beatrice. See much more on Old Brand New and Dabito's flickr album, tumblr, and portfolio.
