Happy Monday my sweets! Did you have a restful weekend? It was hot as blazes here (we were under a severe heat advisory all weekend—and still are), so there was a lot of lazing about and popsicle eating in mi casa. Feeling Beachy

One of the toughest things for me about living in a landlocked state like Oklahoma is the absence of a nearby ocean. When we lived in California I really didn't spend that much time on the beach, but now that it's not even an option anymore, I find that I'm pining for sand and surf more than ever. Since the closest I'll be getting to a "beach" anytime soon will probably be the river, I'm cheering myself up today with these pretties picked for an imaginary weekend by the sea. In the past, if you'd asked me pointblank if I like the color pink I'd probably have immediately said "no" and make a face like this.
