Pinterest Picks: Feels Like Summer

Hello again sweets! Did you all have a great weekend? My plan to enjoy the delightful Spring weather didn't exactly go as intended, as we experienced our first ridiculous heat-wave of what I'm sure will be many this year (it got up to 96 degrees on Saturday). My daughter and I still managed to get our veggie garden planted though (we gardened in the early morning and evening to escape the midday heat), and I have to say I am pretty darn excited for a (hopefully) bountiful harvest throughout the Summer. I've been known to have a major brown thumb though...so I'll keep you posted.

Anyhow, the unseasonably warm weather had me thinking about a dreamy Summer (sans humidity and unrelenting heat) and these finds on Pinterest seemed to match up well with how I wish the season was like (even though I know it will feel more like this). Happy Monday sweets! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. The temperature dropped into the 30s and 40s here, so our plans for days filled with gardening had to be put off. Instead, I ended up organizing my office and home. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but this is the first time I can actually walk around my entire office without bumping into an unpacked box. It's all done now! Woohoo!

Hello friends! Did you all have a wonderful weekend? Spring made a truly spectacular arrival here yesterday with glorious breezy weather in the 80's, which we of course took full advantage of at our local park. It couldn't have been more perfect! Happy sigh.

Anyhow, each week as I am looking through my favorites over on Pinterest I almost always find myself drawn to a specific color palette...and that palette (I've discovered) more often than not seems to involve pink. I'm not sure why...I don't think of myself as a huge pink fanatic, but then a new Monday rolls around again, and that's what I find myself collecting to share with you all.
