Color Crush: Teal Appeal

There is a long history of teal loving in my family. The color will forever remind me of Summertime visits to my grandmother's house — stretching out on the seafoam and teal bedspread with the cool ocean breeze filling the room, and of my mother's teal colored winter scarves and warm mittened hands. Isn't it amazing how a color can hold so many memories! With the turning season I want to infuse my home with this beautiful hue and keep the color story going for my daughter. What color(s) do you associate with your fondest memories? xo Ez

In Good Company: Twigscent by Twigs & Honey

I have been an admire of the Twigs & Honey line for years. Myra Callan, the owner creative genius behind the brand works tirelessly to create collections of accessories for brides and glamorous gals that never fail to impress.  And now today she is delighting us even further with the introduction of her newest venture: Twigscent!

After suffering from allergies that have keep her from enjoying any traditional scented perfumes or body sprays, Myra finally set out to create her own line of all natural fragrances. The very first scent in her Twigscent collection is called Rumpledcake and is warm and woodsy with subtle floral notes. Of course I can't pass on mentioning just how very in love I am with her product packaging. Myra has left no detail unfinished — trust me, I received a beautifully packaged bottle myself and it is to die for. All I could think of when I opened my parcel was how elated I would be to carry her products if I was a shop owner. They would just look so very pretty displayed in a sweet vignette!

Okay...hurry on over and check out Twigscent right now. Enjoy! xo Ez

In Good Company: Horne

There's something about the changing season that is making me crave a home decor overhaul. That doesn't mean that I'll actually be able to pull one off, but a girl can dream can't she. If I had my wish I'd start by filling my shopping cart full of finds from lifestyle shop Horne. I'm thinking a palette of greys, blacks, and some soft lilac would look great for the Fall...what do you think?

John Derian for Target

Hello lovelies! How was your weekend? On Saturday my daughter and I went shopping at our local Target and I took the opportunity to check out their new line of products designed by John Derian. I'm not sure if their shelves were fully stocked yet though, because I missed the plates and tumblers (I really want the butterfly plate)...but I did get a chance to see the other goods and narrowly escaped purchasing a pretty little melamine tray (I forced myself to put it back because as much as I love looking at it, I truly have no use for a melamine tray). What do you think of the new John Derian collection for Target? If you haven't had the chance to see it in stores, you can pick up a few pieces from Target online, right here.
