In Good Company: The Bungalow

The Bungalow (I love the name; it reminds me of the Nancy Drew novels I couldn't get enough of in my younger years) is filled to the brim with sweet feminine assessories made from lace, doilies, silk flowers and more.  Perfect for Springtime, garden parties, weddings and everything in between.  See more here.  Read her blog here.

Free Printable Mailing Labels - Aqua and Orange

It's freebie time everyone! I've been wanting to make this style of mailing label for a long time, so I figured while I was at it I'd make one for all of us to enjoy (be sure to tell your friends too)!  Hurray for freebies!

All you have to do is:

  • Download Free mailing labels-aqua and orange (prints six to a sheet)

  • Print onto standard-weight paper or any other paper of your choosing (you can also use adhesive label paper if you want to get fancy)
  • Cut the labels out along the outside edges
  • Affix them to your packages and envelopes using a glue stick
  • Address and send

Tips:

For envelopes:  Fold the label on the dotted line between the return address and the main address portions.  Adhere to your envelope so that the return address faces to the back and the primary address shows on the front.

For parcels:  Cut the label on the dotted line between the return address and the main address portions.  Arrange the on your package as desired and glue into place.

Note: I've found that my printer ink can bleed when it gets wet, so if yours does the same you may wish to address your labels and then protect them with a piece of packing tape before shipping.

I hope you enjoy these.  xox Ez

For non-commercial use only please.  If you'd like me to design labels for you to use in your business, I'd love to hear from you (rates are reasonable).  Full rules of use are found on the PDF.  Thanks!

One Good Thing + A Pop Quiz

I adore this beautifully handcrafted Robin's Egg Bird Clutch (choose from three different handles) by Ink & Spindle.  There is something so incredible about owning a piece that was created with the heart and hands of a real person.  Don't you think?

Pop Quiz: What is your favorite (purchased) handcrafted possession, and why?  Share in the comment section below.

I'll start by saying that for me it's a tie between this wonderful original painting by Amanda Blake AND this gorgeous deer by Lemmikkiapina. Can't wait to hear what yours will be.  xox Ez

Today I Love: Retro Aqua + Peach

It started with the dress.  After that I just couldn't stop.  What do you think about this color combo?  Does it work for you?  It feels very retro, feminine, and oh-so springlike to me!

If you like this color combo, then you might enjoy a sweet little freebie I whipped and will be sharing with you all here a little bit later today.  Hope you'll be back for that.  xox Ez
