Terrariums...

As a kid I remember going out to the nearby creek beds to collect mosses, twigs, and tiny plants.  These I would then assemble into old jars, creating what I imagined to be elaborate miniature worlds where fairy creatures would frolic and play.  I still love the magic that terrariums evoke.  They are a perfect way to bring the enchantment of the outdoors in!  You can buy them pre-assembled, or snag some inspiration (below or elsewhere) and create your own little jar of whimsy.

I know that you all must read Design*Sponge already, right?!  (If not then you are certainly in the minority, and should start reading a.s.a.p.). In any case... you should hop on over right now to check out THIS POST that I'm crazy in love with!

Cookie's for everyone...

Here are 3 reasons why you should be an avid reader of Cookie Magazine and a frequent visitor of their site (even if you don't have children).

Reason #1: Fantastic projects for you (and your offspring).

Reason #2:  Fabulously styled photographs of fashion for all ages.

Reason #3:  Because it's just plain inspirational!

Fall for You...

I spotted this fabulous Hidden Habitats Calendar by Jill Bliss at Fred Flare yesterday and was inspired to create these free downloadable Fall-themed tags using some little doodles of mine.  You can print them on cardstock or self-adhesive paper, and use them for anything you'd like (non-commercial use only please).  Enjoy!  Click here to Download printable fall tags.

Beside My Desk

I'm about to run out the door to pick up my daughter from school, but I thought I'd leave you with a photo I took earlier today of the bookshelf I have next to my desk.  It was found at a rummage sale for $5 and I painted the interior aqua and left the natural wood outside untreated (you can't see that part in this photo though).  I use it to store work supplies and my extensive collection of Martha Stewart Living magazines.  It's super useful and it's probably the best 5 bucks I ever spent!  Anyhow...

Have a lovely evening everyone!  xo Ez
