Color Crush: Berry + Blush + Sand + Blue

Hello sweets! I'm currently crushing hard on this color palette right now because of the way it makes me wistful for Summertime, birthday parties, and the seaside...all good things, right?! I think the dabs of blush pink help to rescue the board from leaning too far towards a patriotic color scheme. What do you think? Should red paired with blue be relegated to the month of July, or do you think this palette works beyond that one month? xo Ez

Clockwise (from top left):

And if you this same color crush with me, then be sure to check out a post I put together two years ago using almost the exact same palette. Fun!

These Essie polishes are great shades. I'm obsessed with super bright polish right now! I have coral on today but I love this red.

I think blue is always better, when it's turquoise. ; )

Loving the Lockwood chair! And I must admit I have been known to rock that blue on my toenails when the weather calls for spunky summer sandals :)

I happen to love this combo year round--I've even got a necklace in my shop in blue and coral red:

Maybe royal blue and true red are more of a July 4th thing, but a corally red with blue is great anytime!

Your blues and reds are so not patriotic style blues and reds.
With a royal wedding taking over the place i thought i was done with blues and reds but this is soooooooo pretty - i love it.

I think it's a great summer combo. Makes me think of berry picking, sometimes, and nautical things, other times. And of course there's nothing wrong with patriotic feelings :) I like the blush with this, too, because I didn't think patriotic at all until you mentioned it.

I love this Color Crush! And I super-love that it's got the 4th of July feeling, but can be used year-round, too!

That bicycle basket is so cute! And that shade of blue is such a happy color. I want!

This is one of my favorite color combinations! I try to keep it to a lighter blue so it doesn't feel too patriotic ;)
