Real Review: Izze Sparkling Juice

{photo by me}

Hello lovelies!  Yesterday my daughter and I decided to try some Izze sparkling juice for the first time (we got the blackberry flavor).  One sip and I became an instant fan (my daughter was a little tougher to convince - I think she might be a little too accustomed to the syrupy sweetness of soda).  Since Izze is made from natural ingredients and sparkling water the drinking experience is refreshing and light as apposed to the sticky heaviness of most carbonated beverages.  The packaging is another plus, as it feels both refined and fun...I think they'd make a great addition to any outdoor party (maybe even a wedding reception)!

Some of my friends over on flickr have recommended flavors such as Clementine, Pomegranate, and Grapefruit so I'll definitely be giving those a try soon.  Have you tried Izze before?  If so (and if you liked it) what are your favorite flavors?  This holiday weekend seems like the perfect time to have a little taste testing fun, don't you think!

I'm not sure what Izze's international distribution is like, but here in Oklahoma we picked up ours from the local Whole Foods market (I've also seen Izze at Target and other grocery stores as well).  Have a sweet weekend!  xo Ez

izze is a staple at our house.. unfortunately, it's an expensive habit so i try to buy the 12 packs from costco which are a little less than 97 cents / bottle. i've seriously considered purchasing directly from izze as a "distributor" .. lol

I have seen these in my grocery store, but haven't tried them. You just convinced me to do so.

I like the blackberry too! We aren't lucky to have a whole foods close but they do sell it at Target, Costco and have it at Chipotle, yum!

we're big Izze fans. sparkling clementine is delicious and sparkling pomegranate is equally lovely. here in the NW you can find Izze at Target, sometimes Costco, Starbucks, and in the natural foods section in nice grocery stores. happy taste testing.

Yum, yes I've had Izze, but couldn't tell you which flavor! I love all those light Italian-type sodas! Safeway's O Organics line has a number of delicious Italian soda flavors, which are often on sale and definitely worth trying!

Pomegranate is my favorite! I first found them at Starbucks in California and started to buy them when I wanted a refreshing change from coffee. The bottles are just as amazing as the sode - I always keep them to put garden cuttings in!

I absolutely love Izze drinks! I live in New Orleans (going to school at Tulane) and they sell them at a store on campus as well as in Whole Foods and in extremely small containers at Borders. The blackberry is easily my favorite, although I love most of the flavors. Apple is really good, too.

One of my favorites is the Peach! It's so refreshing and delicious. I never thought of looking at Costco for them. Going to have to check it out.

I LOVE Izze sodas! I think they have a sparkling pear that I can never seem to find, but remember being absolutely in love with! And I may be crazy, but I also remember a peach...which was delicious!
I've never not liked one of their sodas : -)

I don't drink coffee, so I first tried Izze a few years ago when I went to catch up with a friend at Starbuck's. My favorite is the grapefruit. But, as other people have mentioned, a bit on the pricey side.

Also, when I'm done with them, I've used them as flower vases, and also to hold simple things, like some seashells. I agree, the design of the bottles is definitely gorgeous, and they've stayed true in the past few 5ish years or so, since I've started drinking them. =)

i've been having a love affair with izze for years. oh how i love it. i've never tried a flavor i don't enjoy, but grapefruit would have to be my favorite.

I used to plan events for the parent company of Izze and became addicted to the stuff. Not only is it delicious on it's own (my favorite is Blackberry with Pom running a close second and Grapefruit bringing up the third) but it makes for an amazing mixer! At one point Izze had released recipes for the drinks but I can't seem to find them online anywhere.... and now I really want a Blackberry Izze.

the grapefruit is my favorite. blackberry is a close second.

So great to read all your comments guys...and excited to see how many of you are also Izze fans! I just tried the peach yesterday and it too is delicious. I think the next flavor on my list will be Blueberry (yum)!
@ Chelsea - The glass in my photo is a jar that used to hold a candle. It's actually my favorite thing to drink from. : )

I love Izze! I actually did decorate my wedding with Izze sodas. They served as holders for the name place cards (paper tags tied around the neck with ribbon). It created a fun burst of color, perfect for a June wedding. Also, Izze mixed with ice and vodka creates a refreshing summer cocktail.

I love Izze! I was first attracted by how beautiful the bottle is and was excited that it tastes as good as it looks. I usually get mine from Whole Food, but I've even seen it at the CVS here in DC. I think my favorite flavor is Clementine . . . though I love the apple too.

I love Izze! Clementine and Blueberry are my favorites!

I've loved Izze for years now. It's my go to choice when I want something sweet and soda-like, but without the caffeine and unnatural ingredients. My favorite is the Grapefruit. It tastes better than any other grapefruit drink out there aside from drinking it straight from the real thing. Clementine and Blackberry are my runners up favorites.
