One Good Thing: Porcelain Take-Out Dishes

These Porcelain Take-Out Dishes have been around for a while (so by now you are probably already smitten too).  But since Creature Comforts is my little catalog of lovely things I just thought I'd take a moment to post them.  I really love the way that artist/potter Lorena Barrezueta has used porcelain to elevate something as seemingly mundane as food take-out containers to new heights.  Her Gourmet Collection sports vessels of various shapes and sizes, and delights with glazes in pops of color such as Turquoise, Chartreuse, Salmon, and Celadon.  Not just for food, I like to envision these being used on a desk to help organize paperclips and rolls of Japanese masking tape...or in the bedroom as a clever little catch all for your jewelry.  Wouldn't they also make a fantastic gift!  Porcelain Take-Out Dishes are available at The Curiosity Shoppe.  Enjoy!  xo Ez

Love it! Reminds me of the ceramic farmer's baskets you posted:

For some reason taking plastic throw away items and making them ceramic is just TOO COOL!
