Guest Post: Color Crush - Pale Yellow + Ice Blue

Hello everyone! This is Ange from Lushlee. I'm happy to be here today to guest post for Ez, whose blog has been my wonderful source of design inspiration.  I've always enjoyed Ez's Color Crush features, and will be sharing with you my latest color obsession today. Pale yellow and ice blue, a beautiful combination that I discovered by chance, after stumbling upon this gorgeous ruffled shower curtain. I just love the iciness of the blue and the coolness of the yellow, which makes me think of sipping a cold lemonade by the bluest water. I can't wait for the temperature to get warmer to do just that!

Thanks Ez for having me here!

Ah! I'm right there with ya. A few months ago, I had no idea that I couldn't live without yellow in my life! Those nesting bowls are precious!

I love this color crush. Thank you for posting that dress too. I had never heard of Calypso before! My roommate and I are on the hunt for bridemaids dresses and any sort of place that has awesome dresses helps.

Thanks this is really a beautiful color combination.

This is a beautiful color combo! I've been semi-obsessed with the color yellow lately -- I love combining it with gray, and this is a great updated take on that!

I own that shower curtain. I adore it, but sadly, it isn't blue like the photo. It is actually green. I still wrap myself in it when I can, though!

Oh that dress is stunning! Have just been over there to have a closer look and hopefully they can ship to Australia. They have some gorgeous pieces. Thanks for the colour inspiration Ange.

Haha, so I shared that Anthro Shower curtain a few weeks back and one of my readers posted this about it: leigh: my 13 year old daughter had a complete meltdown over the shower curtain in the store and we ended up walking out with it after she pointed out how cute it looked with the turquoise mosaic tile on the wall. Anthropologie is amazing

Too funny, right?

This article reminded me just how much I love the pale yellow and ice blue color combination!
Those colors just sing when put together.

An added bonus is these also look good with a tan. You dont have to go over the top and get a dark tan, even a mild tan will be enhanced with these colors.
