My color palette would be "Peach, Pewter and Pumice". I would wear a barely gray dress and flowers would be shades of peach and ivory. Great Giveaway!!

Definitely a sunny, cheerful yellow for me! We're working on planning our wedding now, slated for next spring, and want to include bursts of yellow everywhere- flowers, vintage fabrics, bridesmaids dresses, groomsmen ties, perhaps? I'm making dozens of tiny yellow birds to tuck into hairdos and floral arrangements; they are so cheery!

Wow, such beautiful picks! I love everyone's color choices.

I've been playing around with a peacock-inspired, jewel-toned theme for a while. Deep purples, navy, and blue-greens paired with grey. I'd love for my bridesmaids to each wear a different jewel color, and I'd love to have some sexy navy satin pumps!

I would love really earthy colors, shades of green [nothing too dark but nothing too pastel either] and just a tiny bit of brown.

But I also love like a lighter Tiffany blue with a little brown and a little cream.

Either way I'd want it to be very light and nature/bird inspired and I always imagine my hair to be in a loose fake-messy wavy updo.

yummy!! that is adorable!! i would love to incorporate a baby blue robin colour and chocolate shimmy brown colour into my wedding! and i would use it for details such as the cake, flowers and even the clothing!!

Oh, cool! Well, I've always been fond of the colors ivory, rustic yellow, and torqiouse. It's elegant and bright as well. I would have a bouquet consisting of lilies and yellow perrenials. The decorations of the reception could be somewhat modern like solar panels, energy efficient. But it won't be too bright as to cause a distraction. The tablecloth will be ivory with lace designs and have torqiouse plates with yellow flowers of different assortments as the centerpiece.

Oh, and the cake! It would be covered with ivory fondant and the writing would be in blue. And they'll be yellow flowers bording the cake at each tier. So lovely!

I dont know if it will turn out great or not, but I like soft/peachy pink, mocha brown, ivory, and baby blue. Its kinda hard to imagine they would go together, though. Maybe the only blue should be the sky ;-) (it will be in the picture!)

I don't know if it's going to work but I love bold pink and antique copper. I've seen very lovely centerpieces and flower bouquets with strong pink flowers that stands out and I think it looks stunning. The antique copper would hopefully give a vintage feel as our wedding venue is quite historic. Maybe we'll be able to do a vintage modern theme? We're still very much in brainstorming mode with our colour scheme. :)

I love these colors you featured here. This is great eye candy!

My wedding was white with lavender, and different shades of purple with a hint of yellow in the irises of the bouquets. Now I would probably pick red or yellow as my main color theme. I saw a wedding in all yellow and gray that was really beautiful.

Such beautiful inspiration boards! I agree with Melissa. If I had to do it all over again, I'd beg you for help.

The ring is just GOR-jaw-droppingly-GEOUS. I love your other picks as well. Everything is so pretty!

if i were to marry the dude i'm seeing now then the palette would be white with green. the first thing he ever gave me was a single rose--but a green rose. i couldn't think of a better reason to choose green than that.

My ideal Wedding Colors are the colors I chose for my upcoming Carribbean themed Wedding: bright orange-red and navy! I love this combination because I am trying to convey a fun carribbean them (red-orange) yet formal and sophisticated (navy). I am using white milk vases filled with orange tropical flowers as well as ranunculus and dahlias from the garden. I designed a navy coral damask for table accents and invitations. My shoes are ivory with a custom orange sole on the bottom! I love my colors!!! :-)

please keep the wedding inspiration coming!!!! truly one of your best posts!!!!

My sister is getting married next year and although her colors are not pick this would sway any ones mind!

Ideally I would go for a gray and yellow marigold palette. Its a hard one to master but I'd be up for the challenge :)Grey simple strapless dresses for the bridesmaids and yellow ribbons around their waist. A touch of yellow in my hair piece and bright yellow boutonnieres for the men against gray suits.

Ohhh now only if I were engaged! shh :)

My ideal colors would be navy blue and fuchsia. I think it's pink without being *too* girly. Sadly, no matter what I say, I can't convince my fiance that those are the colors for us. So we're going with aqua and pale orange/coral instead. Which I also love, but not as much. But hey, marriage is all about compromising, so planning this thing is a fitting test.

My dream wedding color palette is lavender (think super soft) and lipstick red! Soft and feminine with just a hint of glamour. I'm going to have mismatched centerpieces. Flea market find vases and candle sticks with lavender mums, roses, lilacs and hydrangeas. With red wax lips as a party favor sitting at every place setting. The boys will be in khaki or grey vests (I haven't decided yet!) The girls in lavender dresses with red accents. And I'll be in a knee length dress with a birdcage veil and red peep toe heels!

i think something nice & bright! perhaps orange and grey. the gents could wear grey suits with a nice bright orange tie. the ladies would have orange dresses. the bouquets would be oranges & yellows & greens.

My favourite colours are demure, dusty, very light colours. From dusty to powdery pink ... Off white, with a discrete dash of light colour ... For a very light and fluffy ... Out of time, ghostie effect. And some little notes of gray.

I'm a fan of traditional white, but I'd probably go for creams and pale yellows punctuated with bright bursts of colors, like a cream lily or orchid bouquet dotted with some tiny purple or magenta flowers. I'd probably follow that theme throughout.

I'm loving the third inspiration board!

Well, my wedding colors were merlot and champagne- very rich colors and romantic feel. But if I had it to do over again... I'd probably through some other random color in there, probably a really pretty blue.

I went to one of my good friend's weddings about a year ago. The wedding was outside, and her colors were grey and navy. I had never thought about using grey even though it is most definitely one of my favorite colors. My ideal colors would be grey and a delicate pink. Lots of lace, pleats, eyelet. Light green flowers and lots of yellow roses and hydrangeas. Yellow roses and hydrangeas have such a sentimental meaning to me, my grandmother would cut hydrangeas for me when we lived next door to her. I loved the hydrangea bushes.

Hi, Ez! Great post! Love this theme and your inspired selection!! For my winter wedding colour scheme, we went for snow whites with dark chocolatey browns and shiny silvers. It isn't the most common option for weddings, but think about browsing old photographs on long winter nights by the fireplace with the comforting scents of coffee and hot chocolate... you'll see it all fits really nicely... -- kristy of handmadesmiles
