Fall Romance

Fall is almost here (for this side of the hemesphere) and I can't wait!  This time of year always finds me in the mood for a nice cup of tea, a good book, and maybe an art project or two... and this season I'm really falling for little romantic elements to kick things up a notch or two.

I need your help... leave a comment with your favorite tea and an excellent book recommendation, and I'll love you forever!  : )

yum. I love those shoes. I need a pair. Now.

I'm currently reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. It's seriously one of the best books I've read in a long time. I don't know of any unique tea blends.. but I'm currently a sucker for some green tea right now.

A book a lot of my friends and I have enjoyed recently is 'The Time Traveller's Wife' by Audrey Niffenegger (sp?). As for tea I'm a plain black girl though I also love jasmine, chai and sometimes Orange Pekoe. Here in Oz there is a great tea shop chain called T2 :-) Susie

I am also a sucker for peppermint tea and The Time Travellers Wife. My two other favourites are The Princess Bride (so much better than the movie, really!) and The Lovely Bones.

Good picks for fall! I have to second Twilight by Stephanie Meyers. There is just something about it that makes it a perfect fall read. And they're making it into a movie :) As for tea, I really love early grey lemon!

Fall is my favorite season too, and I have a couple projects on tap as well. My favorite tea is plain old black or Constant Comment. Favorite books I'm sorry to say are the Harry Potter books. I also adore "The Shell Seekers" and "And Ladies of the Club." And I'll read anything by Mary Higgins Clark and Terry Brooks. Trash, I know, but so delicious. In nonfiction, "Blue Like Jazz" by Donald Miller was an inspiration.

Oh! I've got to agree with Krista! Time Traveler's Wife is a beautiful story! (I got a little weepy). And a book like this deserves a soothing camomile tea. Yum!
