Coloriffic...

My favorite color combo of this season has got to be pink and red (an orangey red) together!  There is something rather unexpected about it to me, but it is a pairing that almost always wows me.

What colors are you loving right now?

"The Gardener"

THE INSPIRATION:"The Gardener" by Eleanor Hardwick.

When I discovered the photographic talent of Eleanor Hardwick the other day I was transfixed (can you believe she's only 14)!  This image in particular really grabbed me, and it in turn inspired this post.

I'd love to see this photo translated into a wedding palette, wouldn't you!

If you have a favorite image that you'd like to have translated into an outfit, email me with the photo (crediting the image source), and list the sort of outfit you'd like (i.e. affordable wedding, day at the beach, etc.) and you just might see your post up here one day soon!  xox Ez

Try this little idea for Mother's Day or the next time you need a quick gift for your child's teacher, your grandmother, secretary, etc.

1. Use this easy Tissue Paper Flower tutorial from Martha Stewart - adapt the pattern size and colors to compliment your mug.
2. Pick up an artsy coffee mug such as this Lines & Circles Mug from GoodShapeDesign, fill it with tissue paper flowers... and you're done!  Cute, right!

Over the weekend you might like to take a moment to browse through some of the amazing and inspirational photos found on flickr.
