I noticed the other day that there seemed to be a growing assortment of azure blue hued bookmarks in my links-to-share file, so I thought that today would be the perfect day to do so. Best of Etsy: Home Decor Edition + My New Sofa

My new sofa from West Elm. I got the 84" in this color.

Hi guys! Just last week I scraped up enough money to finally purchase a new sofa. My level of excitement over this furniture purchase is more than a little ridiculous. We've been using my Grandparent's old sofas forever (granted, they are aqua and kinda cool), but it was more than time for something new. If you're wondering why I'm not all gaga over the aqua sofas (sounds like something I should love, right): A. They are reeeeaaally old. B. Since they are soooo old, I attempted to wash the cushion covers last Summer and they shrunk up into miniature cushion covers—as in, most of them do not zip over the foam inserts any longer (not pretty). C. I've been using hand-me-down furniture in my home since I moved out at the age of 18 (I've made very few major furniture purchases since then) and I am ecstatic to finally own something that is mine!

Anyhoo...that long intro was just to explain how it is that I found myself perusing the home decor options over on etsy this past weekend. I quickly amassed a huge list of goodies that I want to bring home and introduce to my new couch right away, but since that won't be happening (budget spent on couch) I thought I'd share some of them with you instead! Today I'm just loving the beautiful packaging supplies, paper goods, and other handcrafted finery found in the Humunuku Shoppe on etsy. Bunny rabbit kraft bags, pendant buntings, and a menagerie of other goodies...what's not to love! Also be sure to pay a visit to owner/creator Alana Davis' blog - this post in particular caught my eye. Yum! xo Ez
