Today I Love: Mi.Avril Garlands

I keep trying to swear off of garlands, but then charming handmade goodness such as these pretties from Mi.Avril just end up roping me back in. It's a beautiful vicious cycle really.

DIY Spray Painted Flatware

This project for DIY Spray Painted Flatware by Sania Pell just made it to the top of my must make list once I return from my East Coast trip. I'm guessing that the paint isn't necessarily food safe, but it sure does look amazing...and I'd probably just use them as photo props anyway. Maybe you could even frame a set like this and hang them in your kitchen as art...or make hooks out of them, like this! By the way I just learned that I'll be having the chance to present any questions I'd like to 40 of the past Project Runway designers (all together for a big party I'm nervously attending on Saturday). So I would absolutely loooove your help coming up with some great topics. Let me know if you have any burning questions for any of your favorite (or not so favorite) past and present contestants and I'll do my best to get them answered for you.
