DIY Spray Painted Flatware
This project for DIY Spray Painted Flatware by Sania Pell just made it to the top of my must make list once I return from my East Coast trip. I'm guessing that the paint isn't necessarily food safe, but it sure does look amazing...and I'd probably just use them as photo props anyway. Maybe you could even frame a set like this and hang them in your kitchen as art...or make hooks out of them, like this! Check out more fabulous DIY projects and creative inspiration over on Sania Pell At Home. (via Karen on Pinterest)

oh my god I absolutely Love this! I'm not really a fan of pink, but the pink paint looks so great against the silver!

this. is. AWESOME.
Very Cool DIY! Adding it to my list as well :)
I agree; this is definitely a top-of-the-list DIY! I saw this on Pinterest a week or so ago and immediately bookmarked it - what a way to make your silverware stand out!
You can actually achieve the same results with a product called Plasti Dip, and that should be food-safe
I absolutely LOVEEE this...It would be great with some awesome thrifted flatwear. I will have to try this and I may repost this idea as well its fantastic!!!

I made some "kitchen art" with spray painted flatware. I sprayed the whole utensil white, then just the base yellow for a "pseudo" ombre look. It was fun, but I tired of the yellow quickly. I like the idea of the Plasti DIp. I think I'll try that next!
Seems to be a very popular thing to do, seen it on several blog's but in different ways. Nice:)
You kick Martha Stewards butt! I so love this DIY, I would have never thought of it in ten million years. Thanks, thanks and thanks.

Just a small correction to a prior post...Plasti Dip is not food safe.
