Inspired Artist: Christopher Silas Neal

Hello again everyone!  I hope today finds you well and happy as a lark!  I'm so glad you're here.

While filled with light and whimsy, Christopher Silas Neal's work also seems to possess an undertone of depth that really appeals to me.  His use of colors and textures are fabulous.  You can see more in his portfolio and purchase prints of some of his work at Thumbtack Press. xox Ez

One Last Thing...

One last thing of beauty before I go for the weekend... Breathtakingly intricate paper cutting by Elsa Mora.  Read her blog post about the process right here... her insight is incredibly inspirational.

Have a gorgeous weekend everyone, and for those here in the US... have a great holiday on Monday!

More things to do this weekend:
-Play these beautifully designed and sweet as can be games... not just for kids!
-Create an online radio station that plays music just to your liking at Pandora
-Browse through gorgeous photos contributed to The Photo Trade group on flickr, and sign up to be a part of this month's challenge right here (the theme for June is: "Learn to Love Flare").

See you all here again next week!  xox - Ez

Shhh...

Don't tell anyone (and by that I mean tell everyone you know), but I've found an amazing solution for organizing and storing photos and links online: Wishpot!

Wishpot was designed for creating and sharing wish lists, gift lists and more... but I've found it's hidden genius: it's a blog post organizer!  For those of you who are bloggers this is groundbreaking!  Even if you're not a blogger you can appreciate the overwhelming level of organization it generally takes to find items, store link (and then remember where you stored them) for blog posts.  With Wishpot you can create a list (make it private if you want to), easily save items you want to use in future posts by adding them to your specified list, and then quickly reference it all again when you are ready to put your post together!  Is this great or what!!!  Easy, effortless, and free!  Yay! For non-bloggers, Wishpot is perfect for creating gift lists, wedding registries and more!

Inspired Artist: Four Crows Art

I love these cheeky little bird prints by Four Crows Art (spotted on etsy's front page).  The pairing of Mid Century iconic pieces with cute little bird silhouettes is unexpected and sweet!  See more right here.
