Inspired Artist: Tony Bevilacqua

I stumbled across the work of Tony Bevilacqua on etsy the other day, and I am totally and completely head over heels in love!  There is something eerie and unsettling about his pieces but they are not gloomy or foreboding.  There seems a delicate balance between tension and irony... and I think it really works.  Very Michael Sawa, in my opinion. What do you think?

I Love You Mom!

This is a couple days early, but I thought I'd extend the humiliation (my hair really did look like that) to span the entirety of the weekend * wink *.

I love you Mom!  You are such an incredible woman and have brought so much love and joy to my life!  One of the many wonderful things about you is your infectious sense of fun and playfulness.  You're never one to just sit back and watch the rest of us make a fool of ourselves (hehe)... you always jump right in with us!   It's such a delight to have a mom who will do that!  So thank you for that, and all that you are Mom... I love you! Happy Mother's Day!

Coloriffic...

My favorite color combo of this season has got to be pink and red (an orangey red) together!  There is something rather unexpected about it to me, but it is a pairing that almost always wows me.
