The good news is that my new hard drive is being installed and I should have my computer back in working order by early next week at the latest! Hurray! I'm not even going to bother complaining about my camera's memory card that suddenly stopped working today and will need replacing before I can take another photograph... nope, not a peep of complaint out of me! I'm just so grateful to have my computer back!

Wednesday, June 4, 2008 Leanne Shapton's beautiful textile designs, lettering, and book covers...
It seems that there could be so many creative aplications for her playful, color-rich work. I'd love to see the patterns on these first two book covers screen printed onto throw pillows. And any of her designs would lend themselves famously to livening up fine china, home accessories, and even wallpaper. What an inspiration Leanne is!
