Inspired Artist: Danita Art

I've loved Danita's art for some time now (her mixed media dolls are especially amazing), but she just recently began some pieces using only paper (and a little ink)... and I adore the results!  I especially appreciate how Danita credits other fabulous collage artists as the inspiring her new work (this is not always the case in the art and design world... so it is very much admired).  It is fun to see their influence in her designs, while clearly seeing that she has a unique style that is all her own.   Fabulous!

On a side note...
Has etsy's mega downtime been majorly affecting anyone else?  I love to feature indie artists from there, but am unable to do so right now because of it.  I feel so badly for all the sellers who's shops are non-functional right now.  I don't make a living off of mine, but so many people do... and three days is a long time to have your business down.  What's up etsy peeps... we want to know!  Update:  Check out the Unofficial Etsy News blog for a little insight into what's going on.

Follow Your Bliss

Artist Kat Heyes has been inspiring me with her gorgeous illustrations and photography for quite some time now.  Her work has been published in magazines around the world, and rightly so.  I'd personally love to cover a wall in my home with her paintings!
