Recycled Stationery from Paper Source

I'm pretty sure I stopped breathing for a moment when I opened the last page in the latest Paper Source catalog, and discovered their new line of recycled stationery and invites!  The yellow, white, and brown is so fresh on the kraft-like paper (very Binth-like... don't you think)!  I love those botanicals!  I want all of these NOW!

P.S. Have I mentioned that one of my sisters will be getting married this summer?!  I have the privilege of helping her put everything (on the aesthetic side) together!  We are going for a yellow and gray floral theme (I'm currently in the midst of designing her invitations and related paper goods which I'll then be printing on my gocco printer)... so I'm sure I'll be posting some of my findings and inspirations here in the coming months.  If any of you have any tips or leads I could/should follow... or just a pretty picture of inspiration you'd like to share please drop me a note!  I'd love to hear from you! xox Ez

Today I Love: Stylist Irana Graewe

You have got to pay a visit to the site of stylist Irana Graewe!!!  I just spoted the link over on etsy, and am so happy I clicked through.  I'm a sucker for little details (like the steam coming out of the teapot on the homepage... so cute!) so her site is a complete feast for my eyes.  Enjoy!

In Living Color

This post was wholly inspired by these three gorgeous photos from the recent Spring Fashion feature by New York Magazine.

{FIND IT}
Play-and-Freeze Ice Cream Maker, Dottie Panty, Lucite Flower Rings, AK Anne Klein Foxie Heels, Rosette Boy Short, Martha Stewart Collection 6-Piece Melamine Bowl Set, Chandelier Bead Necklace.

Brights are not for everyone.  How do you feel about this season's bright and colorful trend?  How will you translate it and make it work for you?  I personally tend to go for neutral basics (read: jeans and black tops) and love to throw in a pop of color (especially shoes) for an unexpected edge. xox Ez

Sucka'

{Recipe HERE (Nutter Butter version) & HERE (Oreo version)}

I love to cook... so I'm always up for a new recipe.  Most I clip from magazines or find online and then save away for a special occasion, but when I saw this recipe over on blog Bakerella there was no waiting... I had to do it right away!  How cute are they!!!

With a mere 3 ingredients, this is one cookie you can expect instant gratification with.  My daughter had a lot of fun crushing up the Nutter Butters and we combined the cream cheese in together (it takes a bit of upper arm strength).  All total (including chilling time) this project took less than an hour!  Why not whip out a batch for your next party.  You can get as creative as you want with the toppings.  Why not try colored chocolate or dip one half into colored or white nonpereils before chilling.  How about pretzel sticks in place of the sucker sticks!  I'll be using this recipe for easter and will shape the balls into eggs for the occasion... try it out and tell me what you do with 'em!

Note: Be sure to buy chocolate specifically for dipping (such as Bark Coating or the Wilton brand found through Michael's Craft Store).  I also recommend chilling the rolled balls for a bit before coating in chocolate... I didn't do that and you can see the the results were lumpy (but still yummy of course). xox Ez
