Wish Me Luck

I found this scrumptious looking recipe for Orange Ricotta Pound Cake over on Une-deux Senses earlier today, and after traipsing all over town (actually that was an exaggeration...it was only two stores) I finally found Ricotta Cheese so that I can give it a try (I've never had such a hard time finding something so basic).  Wish me luck.  I'm going to be attempting to make this as cupcakes instead of a loaf and I really have no idea what I'm doing.  Photo results will ensue tomorrow (hopefully).  xo Ez

P.S. Sorry it's been so quiet around here lately.  There are so many boxes I'm still trying to weed through so this little personal blog of mine has kind of taken a backseat.  Thanks for your patience.

Free Printable: Mini Wallpaper Notes + Envelope Template

Hello lovelies!  My sister's birthday is coming up this week (happy birthday little sis) and for her present this year I decided to put together a special box full of "grab and go" gift packaging supplies.  She's a new mom and I know how helpful it can be to have nice things on hand when the occasion calls for a little extra something but you already have your hands full.

These little Mini Wallpaper Note Cards (about 2.75" in size) are one of the things I tucked into her gift box and I thought that you might also enjoy them.  I created two designs per mini note so you can simply flip each one over and display the side that you like best!  They'd also be great to cut into squares, punch and string with twine for use as gift tags.

And lastly, I also made up a template for some mini envelopes that are sized perfectly for the cards.  Directions for assembly can be found on the download.

I hope you will enjoy*!

*For non-commercial use only.  If you'd like to share this printable on your blog (hurray) please link to this post directly and do not host the actual file(s) on your site.  Thanks for sharing!  xo Ez

In Good Company: Spoonflower

How many times have you seen (or thought of) a textile design, pattern or print and thought..."if only I could just print my own fabric using my own designs."  Well you can!  Spoonflower is a wonderful company that makes it possible for users to upload their original designs and then they print them for you onto the fabric of your choice.  They offer all-natural fiber textiles ranging from bamboo-cotton and organic cotton, to upholstery-weight cotton, linen and more.  And even better, all Spoonflower fabric is printed using eco-friendly, water-based pigment inks on natural fiber textiles.  The possibilities are as limitless as your imagination.  These here are a few examples that I love from Spoonflower users:

Head over and see more for yourself right here.  Enjoy!  xo Ez
