One Good Thing: Linen Tea Towels by Kate Bingham Burt for Poketo

Right before my trip last week the team at Poketo sent me one of their wonderful new Linen Tea Towels designed by Kate Bingham Burt to try out. I wasn't expecting it in my mailbox, so it was such a treat when I opened the mystery package I received and found such a pleasant surprise inside. In their shop they have three different designs to choose from in multiple colors. I have the adorable Sweets version in pink and have fallen in love with their other varieties too. And isn't this packaging idea just brilliant?! Now that's a great hostess gift if I ever saw one!

My Fall Favorites

Oh Fall...I love you so! If only you could stay a while longer and not turn all cold and indifferent just when I become attached. Le sigh!

Design Your Own Wallpaper and Wall Decals

The same day that I shared my first foray into print design I noticed that Spoonflower (the company well known for making it possible for anyone to create their own custom printed fabric designs) now offers us the ability to design and purchase our own custom wallpaper and wall decals! Talk about awesome! I'm so excited by all the possibilities this new design service opens up!

P.S. You don't have to be a professional print designer to create your own textiles and more at Spoonflower. Their service includes a program that will take any uploaded image (it has to belong to you of course...for copyright reasons) and create a variety of repeat patterns out of it with the click of a button. So cool!
