This Behind the Scenes: Creativity at Work feature in the recent Martha Stewart Living Magazine, has got to be my most favorite article ever presented by their publication!  Take a gander and some of the incredible work spaces of her fabulous team of creative geniuses.  I'm comforted to see each person's individuality so clearly displayed in each space.  Perhaps the rooms really are just cleverly staged for the photographs, but to me they truly feel used and like spaces where one could easily get lost in inspired thought. Resolution no. 2

Hello lovelies!  It has been so wonderful to be back.  Truly!  I missed you all so much!
Over the holiday I took some time for reflection and realized that one main thing missing in my life is time to create.  So my second resolution for this New Year is to set aside Wednesdays for just that.  I'll still be around to answer emails and you can expect to see a couple regular posts on these days (I've decided to continue my Inspired by: photography series which so many of you responded so positively to), but the majority of my time will be spent offline crafting, creating (and probably catching up on a bit of long-forgotten housework).  This will make me a better, more inspired blogger too... so it's a win win situation really.  : )

I can't take off for the day without first mentioning some recent exciting news.  As many of you know (thanks for all of your sweet emails) Creature Comforts was just featured as an editor's favorite blog in the February 2009 issue of Lucky Magazine (page 33)!  I am so incredibly thrilled and want to thank each one of you for making CC a part of your day.  This blog would be nothing without each one of you and I just want you to know how much you all mean to me.  Also a huge thank you goes out to Cassandra and Lucky Magazine for the feature! Have a gorgeous day everyone!

As promised, here are photos and a short recap from my attendance at the Domino Bazaar this weekend. My sister and I had a blast laying on all the furniture and testing out the cushiness of all the couches (a major feat considering how many there were).  Highlights for me were the large assortment of vintage items (I swooned over the vintage industrial lighting and refrigerators), the product packaging on many of the smaller items (such as in the bath & body section), and the sweet little handcrafted softies (especially mr. owl).

Domino Effect

Hello lovelies!  I want to share an exciting upcoming Los Angeles event with any/all of you who might be able to attend.  Next weekend (10/17 - 10/19) Domino Magazine will be hosting The Domino Bazaar, a three day mecca of discounted shopping / design inspiration that is simply too good to pass up.  This event will be housed within the wonderful H.D. Buttercup facility in Culver City, CA.  I'll be in attendance on Friday, so if you can make it on that day, please let me know... I would love to have the opportunity to meet some of you!  I'm bringing my camera along and will be capturing all the magic to share with you here the following week.

Hello again lovelies!  I'm feeling a bit more like my usual self today (thank goodness).

Last month Stephanie from N.E.E.T.
