And to celebrate I'm throwing a "tea party" with party favors!

stom-ick troubles...

Hello lovelies!

My daughter and I seem to have come down with a stomach virus... and we spent over 4 hours at the doctors office today, where we underwent throat swabs, blood tests, and more.  Not my idea of a good day.

I'm still desperately trying to have the CC Holiday Gift Guide ready by November 1st... so I am sadly not going to have anything for you today.  I'm so sorry to leave you hanging!  In the interim I invite you to explore some of the wonderful blog I have linked in the left-hand column.  Thanks for understanding... and I'll be back November 1st!

...listening to music on Pandora while putting together the next post for you all.  If you haven't tried it out yet, get yourself over there immediately.  The site customizes stations based upon your musical preferences, and I've found some great new music because of Pandora.  One caution... it is a.d.d.i.c.t.i.v.e.... don't say I didn't warn you!

Beside My Desk

I'm about to run out the door to pick up my daughter from school, but I thought I'd leave you with a photo I took earlier today of the bookshelf I have next to my desk.  It was found at a rummage sale for $5 and I painted the interior aqua and left the natural wood outside untreated (you can't see that part in this photo though).  I use it to store work supplies and my extensive collection of Martha Stewart Living magazines.  It's super useful and it's probably the best 5 bucks I ever spent!  Anyhow...
