One Good Thing: Linen Tea Towels by Kate Bingham Burt for Poketo
Right before my trip last week the team at Poketo sent me one of their wonderful new Linen Tea Towels designed by Kate Bingham Burt to try out. I wasn't expecting it in my mailbox, so it was such a treat when I opened the mystery package I received and found such a pleasant surprise inside. In their shop they have three different designs to choose from in multiple colors. I have the adorable Sweets version in pink and have fallen in love with their other varieties too. You can see more right here.
And isn't this packaging idea just brilliant?! Now that's a great hostess gift if I ever saw one!
All images from Poketo. Full disclosure: I received a free tea towel from Poketo, but was not compensated for this post or asked to write about their products. All opinions are my own.
High + Low: The Leopard Clutch
I've been trying to introduce a little more animal print into my wardrobe, but the idea of wearing a printed top or dress has me feeling skittish at times. It's a lot of (very bold) print! A thin leopard belt is pretty much my extent of walking on the wild side. Taking a look into accessories, I found a great compromise; the leopard print clutch. It can add so much to a simple outfit. So the search began for the perfect, affordable clutch. I love this Invitation Clutch from J.Crew, but at $448, it's far too expensive. The total of my five low finds is under $400, which sounds a lot better!
Invitation clutch in printed calf hair $448 - J.Crew | Large foldover leather clutch $75 - Etsy | Leopard calf hair clutch $89 - Etsy | Leopard flat clutch $165 - Clare Vivier
(Also, some cute and very inexpensive faux Etsy finds for $22 and $45.)
Remember, if there are any highs you'd like some alternative lows for, just leave a comment and it may be a future High + Low post!
Pinterest Picks: Camel, Black, and White
It's pretty clear that 'camel' is really just a fancy word for tan, but it does sound a bit more intriguing and less like the aftereffects of sun damage, don't you think. So today, a mini roundup of pretties from Pinterest in black, white and camel. xo Ez
