With a Heavy Heart

Hi friends. It is with a heavy heart that I share with you, that over the weekend my paternal grandmother passed away. She fought a brave battle with cancer, and while our hearts are filled with sadness for our loss today, we are also comforted in knowing that she is now free from suffering and pain. She left this earth surrounded by her loving family, and today we will gather together to celebrate her life. I hope to be back to regular posting tomorrow, and thank you for your patience and understanding in the meantime. xo Ez

Oh, so sorry to hear of your loss! My special grandma died almost 4 years ago (hours after meeting her only great-granddaughter for the first time) and I still miss her so much.
You know they have to go at some point, but it still hurts.
