With a Heavy Heart
Hi friends. It is with a heavy heart that I share with you, that over the weekend my paternal grandmother passed away. She fought a brave battle with cancer, and while our hearts are filled with sadness for our loss today, we are also comforted in knowing that she is now free from suffering and pain. She left this earth surrounded by her loving family, and today we will gather together to celebrate her life. I hope to be back to regular posting tomorrow, and thank you for your patience and understanding in the meantime. xo Ez

Hi Ez, I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my grandma recently too and it is really difficult. I pray that you would have peace and joy in remembering what good times she shared with you.
I'm REALLY sorry for your loss. My grandma passed away like this, too. She fought a couple months against this disease, but she was so weak. It was very sad, but we also had this comforting feeling you talked about.
Hope God fill your and your family's heart with comfort and your sadness becames a good type of 'saudade' very soon.

Ez, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother's passing. I hope you and your family are hanging in there. I lost both my grandparents to cancer as well. The last year of their lives were very trying for my family. xo
