DIY Inspiration: Honey Jar Favors
Over the weekend I stumbled across a link to a post on i-DIY that I bookmarked ages ago, and just had to share. The favor packaging designed by the groom (Hans), is what really caught my eye. Designs were printed onto tan paper, hand-torn by the bride, and then attached to honey jars using jute twine. Such a wonderful way to add personality and charm to DIY favors! You could easily apply a similar concept to party favors for your next soiree, or wrap up jars of homemade jam for easy gift giving—you know...all the ones you're going to make over the Summer *wink*.
One of my favorite resources for vintage images is Clipart ETC (free for non-commercial use).

This is adorable! I love giving gifts that are handmade and these give it that extra touch.
great diy! thanks for sharing. Now i just need to learn how to make jam :)
My husband designed these for our wedding favors. If you look closely, you will also see hidden words in the drawings.
I picked a good one...

love the color combo! that red + blue is so good looking!
So cute!
Ohhh...I love the art work! Very European vintage. The cow would look great as tags on a cheese board! Thanks for sharing!
What a sweet idea for a custom wedding favor! If you want another way to label them (that also turns into a favor), what about slipping custom wristbands with your names and the date of your wedding? That way, you can color-coordinate and give people something lasting to remember your special day!
