A Friend in Need
Hi sweets! As you read this I am scrambling to get myself and all my things onto a plane headed for Salt Lake City. But I couldn't leave without first sharing with you a special fundraiser that my friend Claire is hosting in her shop for the next three weeks. You see, some very close friends of hers have just lost everything they own in the devastating Brisbane, Australia floods. Not only was their home destroyed, but they have two young sons and a little one soon to be arriving (now with no place to call home). I can't even imagine how crushing a loss like theirs must be. It is truly heartbreaking. All I can do is imagine how I would feel if a tragedy like this happened to a close friend of mine.
If you want to do some good for these lovely friends of friends, please consider purchasing something pretty from Claire's shop over the next few weeks...100% of her proceeds are going to help this sweet family in need. I'm so glad you're highlighting this! The floods here in Australia have been absolutely horrible, At least 20 people dead and thousands without homes. I love that the creative community can get together and help out.

I am in Brisbane Australia and have been helping to connect people with needs to those who want to help. We had an offer of a portacot, stroller and car seat.. if they would like it I would love to connect them.
