One Good Thing: Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches

I have one word to say about my recent discovery of Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches...YUM!  I am pretty sure the 'low fat' benefits of these tasty treats are quickly offset by the fact that one can easily consume two or more a day.  In fact I'd like to suggest a product renaming.  Perhaps the Not-So-Skinny-Cow is a more suitable moniker?!  Have you tried these frozen morsels before?  What is your favorite flavor?  So far Mint and Cookies & Cream are big hits here in our house.  Thinking about them is making my mouth water...time for another one.  Mooooo!

My favorite are the strawberry cheesecake sandwiches! But they are all delicious, and don't have that crumbly texture most low-fat ice creams do.

I have not tried these - but I WANT to!! YUM.

I love Skinny Cow! The cookies and cream are awesome and the ice cream cones that are like Drumsticks are even better. It is hard to eat just one!

Seeing as I ascribe to the belief that peanut butter only enhances everything, I LOVE the chocolate peanut butter ice cream sandwiches, just typing about it, makes me want one...right now...

Goodness, do I ever love these. I've had the mint sandwiches and the caramel bars and was so surprised at how amazingly good they are.

I can't find the different-flavoured sandwiches up here in Canada, but I love the vanilla caramel bars, and they don't have artificial sweeteners, even better!

OMG that looks so delicious and I'm so not a fan of low fat stuff but that looks really yummy.

They are so good and very point friendly (if you're a points counter like me on Weight Watchers!). The peanut butter ones are divine...

I forgot about these! I used to eat the peanut butter ones all the time. :)

the mint one is my favourite..you can't tell that it's low fat! we don't get the flavoured ones in Vancouver, so whenever i'm visiting the US i make a point to buy them.

I have the mint sandwiches in my freezer right now...I LOVE THEM, and the hubs is a fan too, and he usually doesn't go for low fat ice cream. I was JUST thinking about having one of the sandwiches right now, but I'm fighting the urge so I can have my late night dessert guilt free later.

I also love the individual single serving tubs of Skinny Cow...the dulce de leche is to die for!

My favorite is definitely the chocolate ice cream sandwiches and I agree that it is hard to eat just one a day!

Oh my Iove skinny cow, and these are great! They are definitely one of my favorite ice cream treats, and they are somewhat guilt-free too! Horrah.

I've only seen the vanilla flavoured one here in Toronto and I absolutely love them! Ice-cream sandwiches are my guilty pleasure. I hope we get those other flavours soon!

I am so glad you posted this. I have been wanting to try Skinny Cow for a long time now. But I have put it off, fearing that they taste like all the other "low fat" ice creams. Yay! I know where I'm headed to next time I'm in the grocery store.

I just bought some! Can't wait to try them!

Oh my this is not what I need to see when I'm trying to loose weight! :D

June 23, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterChaucee

MMMMMM you can't go wrong with the classic ice cream sandwiches, but I do love the strawberry shortcake ones as well. So yummy!

holy COW <---ha! (excuse the pun) i LOVE these!!!

Yessss!!! My husband and i went on a calorie counting "lifestyle diet" and I couldn't handle not having Ice cream during the summer so I stumbled across these and now I have one after my lean cuisine dinner and :) it's oh.. so..wonderful!!! Yum.....

I LOVE SKINNY COW! Dulce de Leche is my favorite, but they're hard to find. Mint or Cookies-N-Cream tie for 2nd place. mmmm.....

If you want to make them extra special (and help you stick to just eating 1 a day)... make your sandwich a super-fun sundae by cutting in half and topping w/ a little bit of syrup and some fat free coolwhip!
