Today I Love: Textiles by Karen Barbe
Hello lovelies and Happy New Year to you all! It's great to be back.
Chilean textile designer Karen Barbe fist caught my eye over on flickr several weeks ago. The colors and patterns she works with are perfection. You can see more of her work by visiting her website and blog, and you'll also find many of her pieces available in her shop.
Also inspiring me, (though unfortunately not for sale) are the incredible pins and accessories that she's created by cleverly repurposing old plastic household bottles. Aren't they just brilliant! For beautiful detailed shots of her work and other projects, be sure to visit her flickr album. xox Ez

I so want the gold and mint fabric. Lovely colors and design.
How fun! So unique and fresh!
I'm such a linen fanatic....these are beautiful. Thanks for finding these! They remind me of spring....sigh.
Gorgeous stuff! Her repurposed items items are incredibly clever, too. Maybe she should sell them.

Wow, her recycled pins are incredible. I love the pop of color. These would look amazing on a winter coat to add a little something-something.
