Update

Hello lovelies! I am so happy to be able to report good news to you all about our sweet Stella.  Today she is at home recuperating after having two teeth extracted.  The teeth it seems, were abscessed and causing a major infection in her eye.  The vet said that we did the right thing by bringing her in right away as a progression of the infection could have had serious consequences.
I also must thank each and every one of you for the support and healing thoughts you sent our way.  I can't begin to tell you how much it meant to us.  Your kindness really carried us through.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And finally I want to send out a virtual hug to those of you who shared stories of a recent loss of a beloved pet.  Each one of you are in my thoughts, and I hope that time will lessen your pain and bring you only happy memories of the precious time you had with your special furry family members. xox Ez

Ez! I AM THRILLED!!!! I have been praying and prayin for your sweet Stella! Just last month I took my Chihuahua Tipper in to have her teeth cleaned and some extractions. total cost $868! Little dogs are prone to bad teeth and spread of infection is the reason that vets push the teeth cleaning so much. Now, I'm cleaning Tip's teeth every other day, no easy task in such a small mouth and an unwilling participant, but I'm hoping to prevent any further problems. ;)

I'm new to your blog and I missed your earlier post on Stella. Glad that she is okay - I have a long-hair Chi, so I know what great dogs they are. 've been warned about small dogs and teeth, but now I will be extra vigilant about teeth after hearing of Stella's problems. Tell Stella that El Jefe says get well soon!

oh i'm so glad!!! i just posted an update about my oona, we just found out her surgery went well {they had to remove a lung!!} and she's doing great. she should be home tomorrow!

Oh I'm so glad! My pom had the same problem, I remember being worried sick. She's okay now, if not a little toothless.
