One Good Thing

Dear non-existent Valentine,

If you were real I would want you to know that I'm swooning over the Double Initial Gold Vermeil Letterpress Necklace by Erika Weiner Jewelry.  You know how I love lettering and such... and with this beauty I could wear our initials around my neck for all time.  How wonderful would that be!

Wishing you were real,  Ez

P.S. On second thought a girl doesn't need a Valentine to be gifted with love.  I think I might just treat myself.  Problem solved.

No she doesn't! Treat yourself ... I did this for years, and loved it. ;)

Good for you. Whenever I find myself wishing somebody would buy me such-and-such, I think why shouldn't I buy it for myself?!

Buy it for yourself! It's fabulous. I buy gifts for myself for almost every holiday. Is that weird? I figure I'm buying stuff for everyone else I love, why not a little something just for me?

I always buy stuff I like, because my husband don't know how to take the hints most of the time, and he venture off to buy something I don't like but he thinks I like......Having a valentine doesn't mean that much for me in terms of gifts department.I just got a guy customer, who brought my "A Perfect Match". He told me his girl friend sent him the link, and he brought it because he wants to surprise her. Now, that's a guy who knows a thing or two about gift buying.

As someone without a Valentine who works at a flower shop and is already fed up with this silly "holiday"---I highly recommend the buying of gifts for oneself.

Also, this is less expensive than a dozen roses and will last longer than 3-5 days. So, keep that in mind, ladies and gents. Now I really want a silver "C" for myself.
