Freshly Picked Botanicals

I love flowers... especially freshly picked spring blooms from outdoors.  However translating this trend beyond the vase has always stumped me.  Even the best laid floral plans, turn to prim and proper, roses-gone-granny in my hands.  So... I generally leave well enough alone.  Today however I bravely ventured forth where I generally fear to tread and came up with this translation for home and beyond.  What do you think?

Alexa Tunic (it looks so boutique, but it's only $29.50) at Delias, Rhapsody Pillow from Crate and Barrel, Fibonacci Collection Signature Brooch by etsy seller LeeLoo Studio, 'I Love' Journals by Joy Deangdeelert Cho (of OhJoy! blog) at MoMAstore, Loveable Flats by Nine West at Piperlime

I'm like you ; love fresh picked flowers, but I'm quite sceptic to anything floral beyond the garden or vase but I do love that white tunica!
