As an illustrator, one of people I admire and am constantly inspired by is Arthur Rackham. In a single illustration, there is so much to see, his line work is amazingly detailed.

I am absolutely smitten by his Alice pieces.

Guest Post: A Visit to Lavender Grove

Hello Creature Comfort Readers! This is Victoria of sfgirlbybay and I'm very honored and happy to filling in for Ez with a guest post, as she travels across the country to her new home in Oklahoma. I thought we'd take a little trip of our own today, but in our case, across the pond. We're taking a look at a beautiful home located in London Fields in England, via photo location specialists Beach Studios.


This early Victorian home has a lovely name, Lavender Grove and I think I can practically smell that soothing scent as I virtually roam around this gorgeous old home. The home is arranged over two floors and is beautifully decorated in shades of gray with white painted floor-boards throughout. One sight of white floorboards and I'm already swooning. I hope you enjoy this little trip to the U.K., and share in my best wishes to Ez on her brand new home. Cheers, Victoria
