Hello lovelies... well the voting is on over at the Style Me Pretty blog for the Wedding Board contest.  I have to say the odds are not in my favor... there are just so many truly gorgeous, carefully created boards... how could anyone choose a favorite?!  They are all pure inspirational eye-candy!
In any case, if you like mine (Day 5 - #2) then by all means... please vote for me.  If not... that's okay too.  I feel privileged to just be a part of the fun.

In Good Company: Bird and Banner

What makes the printed creations of Bird and Banner (owned by Erin & Nicole) so fabulous... is not only their fine attention to detail (which is evident), but the personal and quirky styling that is a part of each piece they make.  You get the feeling that every couple and customer they serve walks away completely and utterly satisfied (and inspired)... how could they not be!

Today while reading through the feeds for all the blogs that I subscribe to (you guys are AMAZING!), I discovered that there is currently a Wedding Inspiration Board Contest underway on the Style Me Pretty blog.  She's just extended the submission time another week, so if you want to have a chance at winning a $100 gift card... by all means get to it!  The first round of voting is currently underway, (mine should be in the next round).  The winner is chosen by reader's votes, so if you like the one I put together here... then pretty please pick me (voting is in two weeks... Earlier this afternoon:

As I sat in the shade of my yard (trying to survive the horrid heat), and while my daughter devised clever contraptions with which to catch the wild turkeys in our neighborhood... a large branch from our neighbors' tree crashed down only a short distance from where we sat.  This branch unfortunately met with our cable/internet wire on its way down and snapped it completely.  So to make a short story long (lol)... here I am at my parent's home writing to let you know that I will not be able to blog until the cable company can repair it on Sunday.  Sadness!
