The Bowed and the Beautiful

This entire post was inspired by this whimsical art print created by Amy Borrell of Cake With Giants. I simply love the idea of wee little Australian birds flitting around in vibrantly colored bow ties. Doesn't the thought just bring a smile to your face too?

Inspiration: Birds of Australia Art Print by Amy Borrell of Cake With Giants | 1. Corset by Suzanne Rae - Steven Alan | 2. Feather Print Gocco Notecards - Marelle | 3. Eames Green Thistle Bowtie - Forage | 4. Lip Delights - Mor Cosmetics | 5. Gala Shorts in Bright Dahlia - J.Crew | 6. Archie Grand Notebooks - J.Crew | 7. Multi Colour Block Suede Platform Sandals - Topshop

Psst...I just thought I should also point out that these picks are definitely meant to stand alone...not necessarily worn as one outfit (grin).

Today I Love: Satsuma Press

The letterpress cards and paper goods from Satsuma Press are the definition of beauty in simple things. I love how modern yet carefree each design feels. See everything in the Satsuma Press shop right here and read designer/owner Lynn's blog here.

And speaking of lovely things...When was the last time you sent a loved one an actual card in the mail...just because? It's been a long while for me too, but now I'm feeling inspired to do just that over the weekend. Maybe you'll join me?! xo Ez

Rifle Paper Co. Notebook and Stationery Sets for Chronicle Books

Oh be still my beating heart! Rifle Paper Co. and Chronicle Books (two of my favorite businesses of all time) have teamed up to create this fabulous new Botanicals Notebook Collection (set of 3) and Botanicals Stationery Set. Aren't they splendid?! Sadly, they aren't available for purchase just yet, but you can pre-order yours right away so you're one of the lucky first to get your hands on one, or two, or ten. xo Ez
