A Room of Sorts

I'm not an interior decorator... my mind is far too random to successfully pull of a complete look for a room or home.  That being said, I still couldn't help but be inspired by this Cerulean Display Case... and somehow that inspiration turned into a full-blown "room" of sorts.  Anyhow... Happy Friday everyone!

I just have one more lovely thing to share with you before I step away from my computer for the weekend... the fabulous work of : k : j : s : illustration & design.  Kelly, creates her pieces in mixed media digital form, and the results are simply exquisite!  Don't you think?!  I need all of these.  My home is sure to be the better for it!

Today I thought I'd share a view of some of my recent purchases from a few sweet Etsy sellers.  I love them ever so much!  It's actually a wonder that I have enough money for food at the end of the month seeing as it is painfully hard to not spend my every penny on all the goodies found on Etsy... there is always something for everyone!

D.I.Why. Didn't I Think of This...

Paint Chip Card Holders! tutorial by  Design Verb.  (Found via my new favorite blog Design Mom).

This is such a brilliant and fun use for all the paint chips you have laying around your home... I know I'm not the only one with a hefty stack, right?!  These would also be cute to use as holders for secret love notes to your kids, bf, gf, partner, etc... or write a note of kindness or tiny treasure tucked inside and leave it in a conspicuous space for some lucky stranger to discover!  Give it a try and let me know how it turns out!  xo Ez
