I came across this gorgeous artwork by Oana Befort a couple weeks ago and couldn't wait to translate it into a sartorial match. Too bad the outfit hasn't also magically appeared in my closet. I kind of want everything!

In My Imaginary Closet: Early Fall Edition

The weather has finally dipped below 90 degrees (a few times - woot) so it looks like my imaginary closet will be needing a few new additions for early Fall. Does yours need an update too? High + Low: The Leather Backpack

For our first High + Low, I drew inspiration from the Back to School craze. Even though my days of student life are long gone, I always fall victim to it! There are quite a few stunning backpacks out there these days, but the price tag usually scares me off. I've been coveting this Leather Transport Rucksack from Madewell since I first laid eyes on it: simple design in a great brown leather with brass details, perfect for fall. I knew there had to be others like it for less, and lucked out in finding three great options. I don't know about you, but when given a stylish, less expensive, handmade alternative, I take it! - Julie

Wares to Wear: Make This Photo Into Two Work Outfits

My daily blogger work uniform generally consists of jeans and some form of a knit tee (obligatory striped top likely). Not exactly Vogue magazine worthy...although I have to admit that I'd feel awfully silly pasted in front of my computer screen in a chic pant suit with only my two dogs to impress. Necessity (or lack there of) aside, the upcoming Fall season has me dreaming of a pretty work wardrobe (maybe it will come in handy for you), and I found inspiration for two looks in this gorgeous image. Just add a lightweight blazer for cooler days and you're good to go! xo Ez

Today I Love: One for One with Toms

I'm sure you've probably already heard that Toms (the shoe company with heart) gives one pair of shoes to a child in need, for every one pair they sell. But did you also know that they now offer sunglasses in their lineup of One for One products, and are donating sight restoration (via glasses, surgery, or medical treatment) to one person for every pair they sell! How amazing is that!
