Color Crush: Coral, Poppy, and Tangerine

This color crush was sparked when my DIY Fabric Poppy Flowers were included in a poppy-themed roundup over on the lovely Dearest Nature blog last week. Suddenly I started seeing poppy-hues everywhere and before I knew it, I had a color crush post in the making. New to my color crush this time around is the handy little color reference card at the bottom of the post. Color Crush: Canary Yellow + Violet Blue

I've been posting a lot of pastel and coral here on Creature Comforts lately (not that there's anything wrong with that of course), but today I thought I'd mix things up a bit with a new color crush. I stumbled across this color combo of canary yellow and violet blue by accident when I just happened to notice a sudden flood of the hues in my file of pretty things to post. Love it! xo Ez

I'm so happy that Coral is having a moment this season, because after aqua, it has to be my favorite hue. It just cheers me up to no end seeing it pop up everywhere from fashion and accessories to homegoods. Are you crushing on any one particular color lately? xo Ez
