Color Crush: Canary Yellow + Violet Blue
I've been posting a lot of pastel and coral here on Creature Comforts lately (not that there's anything wrong with that of course), but today I thought I'd mix things up a bit with a new color crush. I stumbled across this color combo of canary yellow and violet blue by accident when I just happened to notice a sudden flood of the hues in my file of pretty things to post. Love it! xo Ez

Haha. This is funny because I am sitting here at my work table with a pile of beads that I bought today in these exact colors. Great minds think alike, eh?
One of my favourite colour combos - I especially like the hat, the sandalls and the cutlery. I look through old decorating pics from the 1980's sometimes - Laura Ashley did this quite a lot - and think is this dated? but No - it comes up fresh every time - and you do it so well!!

I'm surprised at how much I like this combo! Usually I favor pastels, but yellow and blue always make my heart sing, even when they're a little bolder!

Henri Matisse and Vincent van Gogh were big fans of that combination as well. It is one of my favorites.
