Timberrrr...

Earlier this afternoon:

As I sat in the shade of my yard (trying to survive the horrid heat), and while my daughter devised clever contraptions with which to catch the wild turkeys in our neighborhood... a large branch from our neighbors' tree crashed down only a short distance from where we sat.  This branch unfortunately met with our cable/internet wire on its way down and snapped it completely.  So to make a short story long (lol)... here I am at my parent's home writing to let you know that I will not be able to blog until the cable company can repair it on Sunday.  Sadness!

Behind the Lense: Photographer - Elif Sanem Karakoç

It's seldom that you stumble across a body of work as breathtaking as this of photographer Elif Sanem Karakoc...but then you discover that she is a mere 16 years of age, and if you're at all like me, your heart suddenly stops from pure awe.  Incredible!  If the present is any indication of the future, I'm certain that there are many success-fill years in Elif's future.
