Photo Friday: Beauty in the Breakdown
Yesterday I was outside pruning the dying blooms off of our tiny little hydrangea bush and I couldn't help but stop and marvel at how beautiful they were...even in their withered state. One of my favorite things about hydrangea flowers is the way they gradually change color as they die? Such a lovely way to go, don't you think?
Have a gorgeous and relaxing weekend friends. xo Ez

So beautiful, Ez. I love how you find beauty in the simple things and share it with us. :)
The flowers is on it's wilting stage. I love the change of colors for each petals.
Lovely photo, Ez - very Andy Goldsworthy!!!
Beautiful! I don't have this color but have lots of the blues. I have been taking pictures of the transition as well. Never thought of separating the flowers like you have. It's amazing looking. I am going to try it with the blues in my yard.
Hydrangeas are so special the way the colors change. Your photos capture this beautifully! I made a wreath from my oak leaf hydrangeas one summer when the color went from white to deep rose.
Hydrangeas have long been one of my favorite blooms, particularly because of how they fade in such a lovely way. (PS: Great post title; a line from a song I love ;)
Do you sell any of your photographs?! This is beautiful!!!
