An Ode to Summer, a Sea Chant Production for the brilliant and inspiring Kinfolk Magazine (via Besotted Brand Blog). Simply one of the loveliest short films I've seen in my 33 years. I hope it gives you chills just like it did for me! xo Ez

oh wow, tears in my eyes. Love the message here. Sometimes i forget that summer is a special time because my life hasn't changed from the colder months; I still go to work and have the same routine. But there is something magical about it, something that makes you linger over meals, linger in your walk home in the evenings, want to watch the sunset a little longer. Even when you live in the middle of NYC. Thank you for sharing this.
Beautiful footage, very whimsical. I think I would have liked it even more if it was just the footage & music, so I could create my own narrative while watching. Either way, lovely film, thank you for sharing.
Absolutely stunning. And so appropriate where I am as we have finally started to get summer weather. Thank you for sharing!
Amazing...beautiful, I think its the life we all wish we could lead and the perfect summer x
So beautiful... of course it was for Kinfolk, it's perfect!
This film is lovely indeed! I kept finding myself thinking, 'would that this were a novel, I would read the heck out of it.'
