Color Crush: Dusky Mint & Sage

My latest color crush isn't too far of a stretch from my constant obsession with anything aqua. But these hues of dusky mint and sage have a moodiness about them that I quite like. The dark brooding cousin of bubbly-natured aqua, if you will. What color(s) are you crushing on lately? Are you feeling these more muted hues, or are you pinning away for something a tad brighter? xo Ez

1. Lily Pad Arm Chair - Terrain | 2. Pilgrimage by Annie Leibovitz - Anthropologie | 3. Weatherby Rain Boots - J.Crew | 4. Ferm Living Studio  House Shelf - House & Hold | 5. Large Pebble Serving Bowl in Pistachio - Gretel  | 6. Triumphant Tea Towel by Katherine Brickman - Third Drawer Down (via Jules Diversion) | 7. School of Hard Rocks Polish - Essie | 8. Turquoise & Caicos - Essie

Mint is actually a recent favorite of mine. I'm also loving anything really bright, such as yellow and orange.
I want those Weatherby rain boots!

I love mint. I think mint and gold also make a very nice combination. Loving Ferm Living shelf house. Since it was somewhat out of my price range, I made my own and love it.

Ha, I just had to comment, because I literally just painted my nails a mint color last night (a new bottle of a shade I normally don't gravitate towards). Then I come to work only to see that the exact color on my nails is your inspiration color today. Thanks for reaffirming my decision :) Mint=good call

Thanks so much for your sweet comments Amy, Beatrice, and Kimberly! xo Ez

@Amy - I want the boots too (even though we don't have much in the way of rain around here)
@Beatrice - I love that you made your own house shelf! Did you paint the interior a color? If so, which hue?
@Kimberly - I love mint polish. So fresh and perfect for Spring (or at least to make you feel better while Spring takes its time to get here). :-)

I love these colors! And I have always loved that Ferm Living house shelf. I have been thinking of making my own too! Or maybe just painting a craft store one I found . . . but it is still sitting unpainted. Probably because I can't decide what color(s)--it has several compartments. I could always browse your color crush posts for inspiration! :)

*sigh* I need to get me some rain boots! I've been at a loss since my gorgeous bright blue ones busted at the sole

Ohh I love those colors! And I wouldn't mind having those rain boots! Lately I've been LOOOVING the pale pinks + light peach tones. I think it has something to do with me wanting Spring!!
